Itinerary: Marrakech desert tour 4 Days
Detailed itinerary day by day of our 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga dunes and Erg-Chebbi.
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley
We will pick you up at your Marrakech riad or Airport and travel from Marrakech to Dades Valley. Across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages and Continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour) You take your lunch at Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate and continue to Dades Valley via Skoura Kasbahs and Rose valley, we will spend the night in a riad/hotel in Dades valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After breakfast, we go from Dades Valley to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.
And then continue to Merzouga. after relaxing few minutes, we go to the camels that are waiting to take us on an adventure in the dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums and music in the middle of the Sahara, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we go to a high dune to see the sunset, we will spend the night in desert tents.
Day 3: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Anti Atlas - Ouarzazate
On the third day of our 4-day Marrakech desert tour, After seeing the sunrise Over the Sahara desert we will have breakfast and return on camels to Merzouga village. then start our journey to Ouarzazate. On the way; we visit the Berber villages pass through Agdez Draa Valley arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening, and Overnight in a Hotel or Kasbah.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Kasbah Telouet - Marrakech
Leaving Ouarzazate in the Morning, we will visit Atlas Studio and Continue our way to Kasbah Telouet. Then we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizni Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages nearby. arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and drop off at your Marrakech riad. end of our 4-day Marrakech desert tour services.
